What I do - It has been my observation that every single wedding has it’s own unique character. To capture the emotional undercurrent shared by the bride and groom and fortify it with everything I know about video brings these weddings to life on DVD. In this way the programs carry the magic of that one day on into the future. The sound of the voices as commitments are made, the tiny movements in facial expressions and the tone in the voices alone say more than any other media format will ever express. When all is said and done these programs bring wedding days to life every time they are viewed.
My philosophy - As a bicyclist over the years I have found that I mentally become one with the bike to function optimally. Concurrently I feel it is similar to commune with the bride and groom along with their families through empathy. To become one with them for a day of celebration and to experience life through their eyes is translated to video composition. I imagine that I am invisible and infused in the moment as the ninja warriors were trained although my objective is to be effective yet unobtrusive.
When the bride and groom relive their wedding day each year, around their anniversary perhaps, they can be reminded that their united heart will never grow old because this reflection of it has been preserved.

BACKGROUND
Application of video processes have been my full time job at WEEK-TV for over 22 years. Experience with software and hardware technicalities along with artistic imaging applications has been ongoing while employed by WEEK-TV CH25 - Now incorporating WAOE - UPN-59 + (Weather Plus and digital channels).
Starting 2004 I began wedding videography and GDI was born.
Every single shot in these videos is screened for consistency in color values and brightness along with the audio levels. In some cases hundreds of tiny adjustments are made to give the final results that special look and sound. Hollywood producers scrutinize their work in this way also. These DVD's function just like mass produced DVD's do!
Video will be shot to edit to about one and a half hours for a poetic rather than epic result. Some of the final footage can be created from still shots of your honeymoon as a prequel or sequel to end the production.
